I have heard that the last passage is harder than the first one! Is it true?

Yes - each section is a little more difficult than the previous one but, at the same time, it does depend on your personal interests and knowledge. For example, Reading Passage 1 might be on the history of charcoal which you might struggle with if your interest in this topic is limited. However, Passage 3 could be on a subject you find more engaging. If you do find Passage 3 more engaging then it may well be easier than Passage 1.
